On April 27, 2016, New England Conservatory Artist Diploma student and Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient Alexi Kenney (B.M. '15) performed John Adams' stirring Violin Concerto with Hugh Wolff and the NEC Philharmonia in Boston's Symphony Hall. In this video, Alexi talks about the challenges and rewards of the concerto, and what it means to him as a violinist and Californian.

ABOUT NEW ENGLAND CONSERVATORY
A cultural icon that will mark its 150th anniversary in 2017, New England Conservatory (NEC) is recognized worldwide as a leader among music schools.
